Why dAtria
I built dAtria because beauty without intention is just decoration. Every piece starts with a specific archetype, chosen for the state it activates. I select colors from the corresponding chakra, compose geometry to guide the eye, and layer sound frequencies that reinforce the same pattern.
Who I am
I am Roberto Simoes. dAtria is my studio and alchemy lab here in Berlin.
I spent 25 years learning how visuals and sound shape attention, emotion, and behavior. I've been studying alchemy for 11+ years in an oral tradition, master to disciple. Here, alchemy is not a metaphor. It is a structured craft expressed through symbolism, timing, and lived practice.
I combine both: the design craft that knows how images and sound influence the mind, and the alchemical knowledge that knows what to encode into them. Research in neuroscience and psychoacoustics supports what this tradition has practiced for centuries.
How it works
Archetypal symbols speak directly to the unconscious. Mandalas and sigils to your soul. When you engage one repeatedly through sight, sound, and environment, it trains your attention toward the state it encodes. The shift isn't conceptual. It's perceptual: you begin noticing, feeling, and acting from a different center.
